GolfVisions’ approach to retail operations is to offer high-quality, competitively priced merchandise at numerous price points at every facility. While the breadth and depth of retail offerings varies from facility to facility within our portfolio, depending upon assessed needs and purchasing behaviors of the clientele, we always stock those essentials golfers might need to replenish their on-course supplies: balls, tees, gloves, etc.
In terms of soft goods, GolfVisions works with and maintains national accounts with a myriad of vendors, including Adidas, Cutter/Buck, Nike, Bobby Jones, Ashworth, Foot Joy, ECCO, Titleist, Spalding and Callaway. Our preferred status with multiple vendors affords our clients lower pricing, extended terms, free or discounted fixtures and furnishings, and access to special close-out merchandise. Under the direction of GolfVisions’ corporate team, onsite managers are expected to create attractive displays and eye-catching yet tasteful signage. Onsite managers, with support from GolfVisions corporate, are also tasked with developing and implementing appropriate promotions to enhance retail sales during peak shopping times (e.g., pre-season, Father’s Day, Christmas season, etc.).
GolfVisions maintains an excellent handle on inventory and cost-of-goods. Appropriate quantities and types of merchandise, including logo items, are purchased throughout the year, with inventory levels documented and managed monthly. GolfVisions is also at the forefront with online sales, using the facility Website to generate additional revenue.
